Capturing a lifetime of treasured family memories
I’m Crystal Campos-Juarez, a seasoned photographer with over a decade of experience in family portraiture. What started as a high school elective back in 2005 quickly became my passion — and eventually the focus of my studies at Bradley University.
My professional journey began at Classic Kids Photography, where I started as an assistant and later became head photographer. During my eight years there, I had the incredible privilege of documenting so many childhood milestones and family memories, all while growing and refining my craft.
In 2022, I stepped into a new chapter and transitioned into an administrative role. After patiently waiting out my non-compete, I knew my heart was still behind the camera — capturing connection, joy, and the love within families. In September 2023, I founded Tesoro Photography. “Tesoro” means treasure, and that’s exactly what I believe your memories are.
When I’m not photographing your beautiful moments, I’m spending time with my own little family — my husband, our three-year-old son, and our two cats, Panda and Keanu.
Motherhood has deepened my appreciation for how quickly time passes, and it’s an honor to help other families preserve the seasons they’re in.
Photography continued to tug at my heart, and eager to continue capturing joy and love of family, I founded Tesoro Photography in the fall of 2023.
I began photographing families long before I had a child of my own. Those sweet little smiles, their glistening eyes and the pure joy and laughter always brought a smile to my face.
Now as a mother, there is a deeper connection and understanding for the importance of capturing your little one's milestones. These are the memories we have left when they grow up. It's an honor to photograph your most loved people.
Photography has always brought me a sense of peace. Being in my element, behind the camera, creating, is a part of who I am.
I left the industry in 2022, with a growing baby bump, looking for work-life balance.
Though I have a full time role in administration that I enjoy, having my own small business, with the ability to photograph on my schedule, is really important to me.

Crystal is an incredibly talented photographer and amazing person. My biggest compliment is how great she is with children. My kiddos are typically very timid and hesitant in front of a camera. We had a fall mini session with Crystal and enjoyed every minute of our experience with her. This was our first time doing family pictures, and I didn’t know what to expect. Crystal made us feel so comfortable with preparing for the photo shoot and while we were taking photos. She helped us find color coordinating outfits that made the pictures! We had so much fun at our photo shoot and we plan on doing another photo shoot soon. We love how the photographs came out-so professional! I am blown away.
